Danny and Eevee have always lived in different worlds. Danny is a graffiti artist who’s constantly on the run from government spies. Eevee is a science nerd who gets straight As and studies all night.
Oh, also: they literally live in different worlds. Eevee lives in regular Phoenix, and Danny lives in dystopian Phoenix. At least, he does until one afternoon, when he gets catapulted into Eevee’s parallel universe. Once they figure out what’s going on, they realize that with her scientific expertise, she’s the only one who can help him find his way back home.
Of course, things are never that easy. The longer Danny stays in Eevee’s universe – our world – the more he wonders if he really has to go back to his world. The more time they spend together, the closer they get, and Eevee starts to wonder what the other world is like – and whether she’s willing to send Danny back there at all.
